Golden winemakers performed at „Gast – Intervino“ fair
In partnership with Carinthian association of winemakers from Austria and Vas county from Hungary, wine producers from Koprivnica Križevci County gathered in cluster of winegrowers Đurđevac, presented themselves on March 14th and 15th at the international fair Gast-Intervino in Klagenfurt. On the common exhibition area were presented the wines that won medals at the exhibition the Golden wines of Alps Adriatic held in Đurđevac in May 2015., and have attracted great attention of experts and visitors.
Themes of the Gast – Intervino fair were tourism, hospitality and gastronomy, on it every year presents around 500 exhibitors and the fair is visited by more than 20.000 visitors. Exhibition place at the fair is financed from a joint project by the Alps Adriatic Alliance, while the county through its program provided funds for travel and accommodation costs for winemakers.
During the fair Deputy County prefect Darko Sobota met with Secretary general of the Alps Adriatic Alliance Thomas Pseiner, with whom he discussed the projects which are within the contact point for Koprivnica Križevci County being prepared for tender of the Alliance, which is open from the end of March. Deputy County prefect talked to the representatives of Carinthian association of winemakers and representatives of the winemakers organizations from Slovenia, with whom is agreed a partnership for performance at the manifestation the Golden wines, which is planned for June 2016., and the project is being prepared for the mentioned tender which is in progress.
