which will be held on June 7th, year 2014.
in premises of Hotel „Picok“ in Đurđevac (Koprivnica Križevci County), Square St. Jurja 9
Manifestation „The golden wines of Alps Adriatic 2014.“ is held as a joint project coofinanced by the Alps Adriatic Alliance.
Manifestation is held in partnership with Koprivnica Križevci County, Community of Associations of winegrowers, winemakers and fruitgrowers of Koprivnica Križevci County, Tourist board of Koprivnica Križevci County, Tourist Association Ptuj (SLO), Folklore group „Hajdenjaki“ Unterpullendorf (A), Association of winegrowers Nagyatad (HU), Association of winegrowers Csurgo (HU), Centre for culture Letenye (HU) and Zala wine route Association Zalaszentgrót (HU).
The goal of international wine exhibition „The golden wines of Alps Adriatic 2014.“ is promotion of wine, winegrowers and wine-growing areas in member regions of Alps Adriatic Alliance. Manifestation is therefore going to gather winegrowers with the best evaluated wines (golden wines) at wine exhibitions in member regions of the Alliance and wider.
The wines brought to the exhibition will be evaluated by the international judging commission, and at the exhibition itself the best evaluated wine will be proclaimed „The golden wine of Alps Adriatic area“.
Purpose of the event is as well connecting of wine producers with caterers, hotel owners and winery owners, therefore on the exhibition are going to be invited the experts and subjects from that sector.
PROGRAMME OF THE EXHIBITION
June 7th, 2014. (Saturday)
13,30 – 16,30 Tour to wine producers at Đurđevac wine road
17,30 Opening of the wine exhibition – awarding diplomas and honors and wine tasting
20,30 Evening of golden wines – presentation and golden wines tasting with entertainment programme
During the manifestation will be organized the presentation of wine roads of Koprivnica Križevci County.
Wines in competition:
At the exhibition can participate the producers with quality wines with geographical origin evaluated as „golden wines“ at exhibitions.
Category: still wines by content of residual sugar – dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet and sweet.
The producer is obliged to, together with sample and filled registration form, attach as well the certificate of evaluation from the exhibition at which wine got golden medal.
In the competition for evaluating will enter 50 samples of wine with highest scores, of which from Croatia maximum 30.
Sample quantity:
FOR EVALUATING AND WINE TASTING IS NECESSARY TO DELIVER 6 BOTTLES OF WINE OF 0,75 LITERS, CLOSED WITH CORK CAP.
THE WINE SAMPLES ARE DELIVERED IN PRESCRIBED PACKAGING AND IN SPECIFIED QUANTITY. TOGETHER WITH WINE SAMPLES IS DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
- FILLED AND SIGNED REGISTRATION FORM,
- CERTIFICATE OF EVALUATING FROM THE EXHIBITION ON WHICH WINE WAS AWARDED WITH GOLDEN MEDAL
Producers whose samples will be evaluated with the highest score will be afterwards asked that on the manifestation itself bring 5 more bottles of wine in order to promote them during „Evening of golden wines“.
RECEIVING OF SAMPLES:
26. V. 2014. – 30. V. 2014. from 8,00 till 16,00 hours in Hotel Picok in Đurđevac (samples will take employees of the Hotel, Mladen Balać and Željko Zadravec – tel. 048 672 200).
Producers from the regions out of Croatia can also send wine samples by mail or delivery, with the condition that samples arrive in hotel until 30. V. at 16,00 hours, at address:

Participants of the exhibition can by popular price stay over night in Hotel Picok (4*), and detailed information about Hotel itself are available in the offer which we are delivering it to you attached and on web site http://www.hotel-picok.hr.
