The County initiated the establishment of thematic coordination point for Agriculture and ethnic heritage of Alps Adriatic Alliance
County prefect of Koprivnica Križevci County Darko Koren brought a conclusion about submitting initiatives for the establishment of thematic coordination point for Agriculture and ethnic heritage of Alps Adriatic Alliance. By this conclusion to the Council of the Alps Adriatic Alliance was submitted an initiative for the establishment of these thematic coordination points, which will act as information points for the areas of agriculture and ethnic heritage of all member regions and will coordinate themed projects at the level of the Alps Adriatic Alliance.
The main objectives of the Thematic coordination point will be connecting and exchange of experiences of agricultural producers, activities in the promotion of agricultural products and traditional products of rural areas, promotion of local products of the regions and encouragement of excellence of the region, support to traditional fairs and agricultural products and support to agricultural producers participating at fairs in the Alps Adriatic area, support manifestations in order to promote the development of quality of enology, winemaking, fruit growing and vegetable growing, to support the development of excellence of traditional and agricultural products, comparison of legislative provisions, agricultural politics and market adjustment in the member regions, educational counseling and study visits to family farms, to see examples of good practice in the region, as well as networking of companies of agricultural, public sector and associations, and entities that are engaged in the promotion of traditional values and ethnic heritage.
Expert and technical work of the Contact point will perform the Section for international cooperation and European funds, and help in the work will give as well other administrative departments of the County, depending on the subject of proposals that are being implemented.Within the Contact point, Koprivnica Križevci County already started preparing joint projects on the subject of promotion of wine and wine-growing areas in the member regions, promotion of traditional painting and naive art, and the promotion of cattle breeding, milk production and agriculture.
