Session of the Steering Committee of the Alps Adriatic Alliance – 9.500 EUR for projects of Koprivnica Križevci County

In Klagenfurt, Austria was on Thursday, November 27th held the 3rd session of the Steering Committee of the Alps Adriatic Alliance. The session was an opportunity for the review of the Secretary-General on the work of the Alliance in the previous period, and introductory addressed to the present governor of Carinthia (which currently chairs the Alliance) Peter Kaiser.

With participants from other member regions and partners the session was attended by representatives of Koprivnica Križevci County: Head of Department for economy, communal activities, agriculture and international cooperation Marijan Štimac and Head of section for international cooperation and european funds Vladimir Šadek.

Representatives of the contact points (CP) by regions and thematic coordination points (TCP) at the session submitted a report on its work. On behalf of our county, as the coordinator of CP for Koprivnica Križevci County and TCP for Agriculture and ethnic heritage, a report submitted Vladimir Šadek. Our county as a holder of projects conducted the projects the Golden wines and Heart of naive, to the manifestation Days of lawn the Alliance had patronage and also have been implemented three more projects in which the organizations from our County were partners. Association „A better tomorrow“ from Koprivnica participated in the project Inclusia in Klagenfurt, Folklore ensemble Koprivnica participated in the project Folklore festival for children and youth in Carinthia and the Community of sports of KKC was involved in the project of the children’s camp in Ferlach, in which stayed young wrestlers from Novigrad Podravski.

At the session were approved the projects and was assigned sponsorship for the projects for the next period. To the applicants from Koprivnica Križevci County was approved the co-financing of four projects, for which the total was approved 9.500 EUR. Here are the following projects:

  • „Alps Adriatic Heart of naive“ – applicant Association of Hlebine painters and sculptors of naive;
  • International folklore festival „From grannies chest“ – applicant Tourist association of KKC;
  • CroSloAus – CSA „Together for better“ – applicant Association of person with disabilities „A better tomorow“ town Koprivnica;
  • DRATOUR – applicant Koprivnica Križevci County.
