Project Amazon of Europe Bike Trail promoted at event “Walk through the Naive”
In organization of association of “Old crafts” third by row event “Walk through the naive” was held in Hlebine on 28th and 29th August, in which representatives of Koprivnica Križevci County were promoting the project Amazon of Europe Bike Trail. Promotion itself was held on Saturday, 28th of August.
Touristic-educational event “Walk through the naive” is representing the naive art, old crafts and cultural heritage of Podravina, but part of event is promotion of natural heritage, gastronomy and sports as well. Happening was conceived as fair of naive, so number of naive artists and their artistic works were presented at the location of event and in whole place of Hlebine
As Hlebine area is one of the most attractive points at south part of AoE Bike Trail, at this event newly established route was presented as well as project itself. Within the promotion of project, running race called “Naive trail” was held, which passed by the part of AoE route near Hlebine.
Numerous of visitors, especially recreationalists, informed themselves about the AoE biking trail and project. Visitors were very interested for details about new route, which is based on recreational cycling by the area of natural beauties of rivers Mura, Drava and Danube. For the visitors promotional materials about route and presents were prepared by Koprivnica Križevci County.
After the presentation of route, “Naive trail” race 8500 meters long was held, and run winner announcement and socializing followed.
PROJECT INFORMATION
Amazon of Europe Bike Trail project is co-funded through the Danube Transnational Programme of the European Union (ERDF and IPA funds). The project started on 1st June 2018 and lasts until the 31st October 2021. The total budget of the project is 3,319,560.00 €, divided between 15 full partners.
