Opened second in a row Alps Adriatc young writers festival
The second Alps Adriatic young writers festival was opened in Koprivnica Cultural and creative center Pixel, which was held from June 1st to 3rd 2017., in all three Counties towns, with the aim of gathering and linking young authors from the area of Alps Adriatic Alliance, that is Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia, with the presentation and translation of contemporary central european literature.
Opening was on behalf of Koprivnica Križevci County attended by the head of the Section for international cooperation and EU funds Vladimir Šadek and senior advisor for international relations Nataša Krobot Hrastić, and the project was financed by the Alliance with EUR 2.5 thousand and HRK 16 thousand from the County.
The authors red extracts from their works, sung karaoke and talked about literature, and they planned to visit the Gymnasium “Fran Galović”, Koprivnica Secondary and Crafts School in Koprivnica, “Ivan Seljanec” high School in Križevci and Đurđevacs Old town, while the final manifestation of the Festival “Starry night: The impressions of central european literature”, was scheduled on Saturday, June 3rd at 8 pm in the Museum of town Koprivnica.
In three days of the festival the guests are seven authors: Ilija Aščić (Cro), Katja Gorečan (Slo), Anja Mugerli (Slo), Franjo Nagulov (Cro), Gábor Lanczkor (Hun), Tibor Weiner Sennyey (Hun) and Andreas Unterweger (Aus), the organizer is Artistic organization Articulation, and the sponsors are the Alps Adriatic Alliance, Koprivnica Križevci County and town Koprivnica, along with numerous partners such as publishing houses, schools and kindergarten “Smiješak”.
