International Amazon of Europe Biking Festival – AnnOuNCEMENT-
We invite you to join us on cycling event Cycling festival in Podravina (Koprivnica Križevci County), organized as part of International Amazon of Europe Biking Festival (August-October 2019), which will take place at Koprivnica on September 21st 2019 from 9,00 to 14,00 hours. Join us on an adventure along Amazon of Europe Bike Trail!
International Amazon of Europe Biking Festival will take place from August to October in the area of first future 5-country UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Mura-Drava-Danube, through 11 cycling events in Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia and Serbia.
Cycling festival in Koprivnica Križevci County will be organized as part of European mobility week, and will have goal to promote future Amazon of Europe Bike Trail in Koprivnica Križevci County. Partners in organization are cyclists associations: Oldtimer club “Biciklin” Koprivnica and Cyclists club ROTOR Koprivnica.
Gathering of participants will be in Zrinski Square in Koprivnica, where promotion of project will be marked by defile of old-timer bikes and sharing of promotional materials. After that bike tour through parts of future AoE route will be held (route Koprivnica – Gabajeva Greda Lake, 20 km in one direction). Refreshment in rural household in Gabajeva Greda will be arranged for all participants.

PROJECT INFORMATION
Amazon of Europe Bike Trail project is co-funded through the Danube Transnational Programme of the European Union (ERDF and IPA funds). The project started on 1st June 2018 and lasts until the 31st May 2021. The total budget of the project is 3,176,000.00 €, divided between 15 full partners.
