Župan Darko Koren 17. rujna 2015. godine donio je Odluku o proglašenju elementarne nepogode suša na području OPĆINE NOVO VIRJE zbog vremenskih nepogoda uzrokovanih sušom koja je na navedenom prostoru nanijela velike materijalne štete na poljoprivredi u periodu od 01.07.2015.-20.08.2015. godine.
