Preparations for Youth sports summer games of Alps Adriatic Alliance
Today was in premises of Koprivnica Križevci County held meeting on preparation of the project Youth sport summer games of Alps Adriatic Alliance. It is the project that is planned to be applied to a tender within Erasmus + programme, throuhg which is possible to finance 80% of total costs. In Karlovac will be in the middle of september held meeting with potential project partners and therefore were discussed as well details abot preparation of the project idea itself.
Competitions are planned to be organized in september 2016. and plan is that on competitions participate young athletes ages between 15 and 18. They would compete in the following sports: basketball, volleyball, swimming, athletics, tennis and table tennis. It is planned the participation of competitors from the member regions of Alps Adriatic Alliance. They will be accommodated in hotels at the area of Koprivnica Križevci County, and competitions will be held in Koprivnica, Križevci and Đurđevac.
At the meeting participated representatives of the Community of Sports of Koprivnica Križevci County (which will be project leader) and Section for international cooperation and EU funds of Koprivnica Križevci County, and on Wednesday will be held new meeting to which are invited as well representatives of PORA regional development agency, who will participate in preparation of project proposal for Erasmus.
