County representatives attended the workshop within SEERISK project
Koprivnica Križevci County is an associate partner in the SEERISK project, which is implemented with a goal of joint disaster management and risk assessment and preparedness in macro Danube region. Lead partner in the project is the Hungarian National Authority for disaster, and project partners from Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
As part of the project May 15. and 16. was in Velingrad in Bulgaria held workshop, which was attended by representatives of Koprivnica Križevci County led by Deputy County Prefect Ivan Pal.
The main objectives of the workshop were holding training for work on computer software for use risk maps of South East Europe (GIS risk) and disaster planning exercises. Koprivnica Križevci County will use the project to get the mentioned risk map, which will use as well 112 County Center, so the workshop in Velingrad was attended by Head of the Center in Koprivnica Roman Sabol.
In the second part of the workshop partner representatives presented a simulation exercise which is planned in their area, so our county representatives presented flow of the exercise, which will take place on July 4. at the railway bridge at Botovo.
