Representatives of Koprivnica Križevci County at the meeting of Steering Committee of Alps Adriatic Alliance
In Maribor was on Tuesday, June 17th held 2nd Meeting of the Steering Committee of Alps Adriatic Alliance. With participants from other member regions the meeting was attended as well by representatives of Koprivnica Križevci County: Head of the Department for economy, communal activities, agriculture and international cooperation Marijan Štimac and Head of Section for international cooperation and european funds Vladimir Šadek.
Welcome speech to present participants introductory refered mayor of Maribor Andrej Fištravec, and Secretary General Thomas Pseiner submitted a report on the work. Representatives of the contact points (CP) by counties and thematic coordination points (TCP) afterwards also informed participants about their work.
On behalf of our County, as the coordinator of CP in Koprivnica Križevci County and TCP on Agriculture and Ethnic heritage, the report submitted Vladimir Šadek. He spoke about the manifestations The golden wines of Alps Adriatic and Heart of naive, which were held as joint projects within the Alliance, and the Days of the lawn where the Alliance had sponsorship.
Afterwards was discussed about new project proposals, after which were allocated funds for 11 projects, and approved two sponsorships to manifestations. It was also discussed about the proposal to send aid to Croatian Counties victims of the floods, on which the final decision will be brought by the Council of the Alliance, as a political body.
