Held 18th Days of lawn of Koprivnica Križevci County
Already on Friday, May 16th began by expert lecture on “Rural development measures with an example of good practice” the most important agricultural fair manifestation in Koprivnica Križevci County – Days of lawn. Many exhibitors have recognized the importance of the Days of lawn, and this year applied 119 of them for participating.
County Prefect Darko Koren has opened this manifestation at Koprivnicas marketplace, and the opening was attended by the mayor of Koprivnica Vesna Želježnjak, director of the Croatian Agricultural Agency Zdravko Barać, Slavko Kopilović from the Agricultural Advisory Service and many others. Besides entertainment, the fair also had an educational character and are held two presentations: Measures to prevent damages from natural disasters in agriculture and grafting of fruit trees. On Saturday and Sunday, visitors enjoyed horse tournament, while the most attractive part of this manifestation was the Bambino Cup where the skill of conducting calves showed 32 children.
Manifestation was held in organization of Koprivnica Križevci County, Croatian Agricultural Agency, the City of Koprivnica, PORA – Development agency of Podravina and Prigorje, the Tourist Board of Koprivnica Križevci County, College of Agriculture in Križevci, medium economic school, Riding Club Koprivnica, Commercial and Economic Chamber, County Advisory Service and under the patronage of Alps Adriatic Alliance.
The manifestation ended by certificate awarding for final training in beekeeping at the cinema hall “Velebit” on Monday, May 19th 2014.
