Koprivnica Križevci County presented at fair Vinitech Sifel
Koprivnica Križevci County is for the second time going to present itself at fair “Vinitech SIFEL” which takes place from November 29th till December 1st 2016. in Bordeaux in France.
It is the leading european fair in the field of wine growing and winemaking, and on a total of 65.000 square meters the technology and equipment for the production of wine, fruit and vegetable production represents about a thousand exhibitors. Their wines from the area of the county represent wineries Kostanjevec, Rep and Matočec, and fair is attended by Deputy County prefect Darko Sobota with coworkers.
This year in the focus of the fair are business, innovation and international trade, and is presented five thematic sections relating to viticulture (from planting to harvest), wine production (fermentation, vinification, aging, storage and marketing), fruit and vegetable growing (from planting to packaging, marketing, export and sale) and marketing in agriculture.
It should also be emphasized that the Koprivnica Križevci County two years ago concluded a cooperation agreement with the Development Agency Interco Aquitaine, which performs international cooperation for the French region of Aquitaine, and in this context between the partners was initiated an agreement on cooperation in the field of viticulture, wine making, gardening and horticulture. One of the models of cooperation which was agreed through local action groups, and it was agreed connecting of LAG Podravina with similar organizations in the Aquitaine in order to enable in the partnership the exchange of experience and education of producers by French experts and also on this year’s fair was occasion for partnership networking with organizations from France.
Within the fair was held a meeting of local action groups and LAG Podravina, meeting of winemakers with famous enologists as well as numerous workshops, conferences and lectures. In addition Deputy County prefect Sobota met with the general director of the French fairs Martine Degremon, general director of the fair Vinitech Sifel from Bordeaux Delphine Demade and with a representative of the company Promosalons Tatjana Matijasevic Medros.
