Alps Adriatic Alliance approved new projects for Koprivnica Križevci County
In Austrian Klagenfurt was on Tuesday, April 28th , held meeting of the Steering committee of the Alps Adriatic Alliance. The meeting was an opportunity for the review of the Secretary-General on the work of the Alliance in recent period and report on the work of Contact points (CP) each of the member regions and thematic coordination points (TCP). As coordinator of the CP for Koprivnica Križevci County and TCP for Agriculture and ethnic heritage, a report was submitted by the Head of the Section for international cooperation and European funds Vladimir Šadek.
At the meeting funds were allocated for joint projects, in which the advantage had the projects with more partners involved from the member regions, that enable the involvement of all regions and those that provide added value for the Alps Adriatic Alliance.
To the applicants from Koprivnica Križevci county were for co-financing approved projects: Golden wines of Alps Adriatic 2015. – 3000 Euros (applicant KKC), AAA Leader LAG – 2000 Euros (applicant LAG Podravina) and In granny’s lap – 1250 Euros (applicant Folklore Ensemble Koprivnica) .
Also 2000 Euros was approved for co-financing of the project “Find your energy – move yourself” in which the partner is Community of sports of Koprivnica Križevci county, which will by the most part be financed from the EU programme Erasmus +.
The golden wines of Alps Adriatic 2015. – evaluation and wine exhibition on May 30th 2015. which at the previous regional exhibitions got golden medal. The evaluation is conducted by an international evaluation committee and the winning wines are declared “the Golden wine of Alps Adriatic”, while all the wines evaluated with golden medal are allowed at the label on the bottle of the same wine to use the logo of the Alps Adriatic Alliance with the label “The golden wine of Alps Adriatic Alliance 2015.”
AAA Leader LAG – workshop that will in September 2015. bring together representatives of LAGs from the member regions of Alps Adriatic Alliance, with the aim of networking and connecting in order to prepare future joint projects between LAGs and member LAGs in various sectors. So far, the interest for the workshop showed 18 LAGs from 4 countries (Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia).
In granny’s lap – a two-day international event intended for children’s folklore groups, on which groups through performance show the cultural heritage of their region, in the informal programme get to know Koprivnica and Podravina and learn about the heritage of other parts, and socialize with their peers from other regions. The event is planned on May 16th and 17th 2015.
