Proposal of the Youth Sports Games presented to the TCP sports of the Alps Adriatic Alliance
In the premises of PORA Development agency of Podravina and Prigorje in Koprivnica was on Thursday, March 26th , held a meeting of Thematic coordination point for sports of the Alps Adriatic Alliance. The participants at the beginning of the meeting welcomed on behalf of the County, Deputy county prefect Ivan Pal. With the discussion about the projects in the domain of sports that are candidated for financing by the Alliance, was discussed about the preparation of the Summer Youth Sports Games, which should be held in Koprivnica Križevci County in year 2016. Representatives of the Community of sports of KKC presented the plan of the organization of sports games, and have shown a plan of sports events by each town. The games will bring together young people between 14 and 18 years, and it is proposed to be represented the following sports: basketball (boys), volleyball (girls), tennis, table tennis, cross-country and swimming. The participants of the competition from Austria, Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia would be accommodated in hotels and apartments at the area of the County. The plan is for the project of sports games to be candidated at tender for Erasmus plus programme, through which with the European union funds can be covered 80% of costs. The president of TCP sports Thomas Hirschböck expressed satisfaction with the proposed plan and offered all possible assistance in the realization of this challenging project.
