In Hungarian Tapolca agreed joining the project of inclusion in sport
Representatives of Koprivnica Križevci County and Crafts School Koprivnica (Head of Department for International Cooperation and EU funds Vladimir Šadek and kinesiologist Janja Geršić) participated on Tuesday June 24th, in Hungarian Tapolca at a meeting on the preparation of a joint EU project on inclusion in sport. The organizer of the meeting was the association BISI from Styria (Austria), engaged in sports activities for disabled people.
This is a project in which students with disabilities together with other students participate in various sports activities, while teachers are educated about the importance and method of inclusion of students with disabilities. The purpose of these activities is the integration of students with disabilities in social life and facilitating their position in society.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the partners from Austria, Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Poland, Luxembourg, Turkey and Hungary. Representatives of the partners presented during a meeting their projects and activities, and on Koprivnica Križevci County projects on this occasion spoke Vladimir Šadek.
It was agreed to prepare a joint project that will be applied to the Erasmus plus Programme, and in it will participate a dozen partners. Partners will prepare sports activities at their area, and get the right equipment for the implementation, and its duration will be between two and three years.
From Croatian side the project will be realized in cooperation of Crafts School Koprivnica and Koprivnica Križevci County, and the school will involve in the project classes that attend students with disabilities.
