Conference held on creating a joint plan in case of disaster
In Koprivnica, May 22nd 2014. was held a conference on developing a regional plan in case of disaster (Elaboration of regional havaria draft plan). The conference was organized as part of the Project DRAVIS 3 whose purpose is to strengthen and territorial expansion of Hungarian-Croatian cross-border cooperation in the joint planning of disaster management. Besides County prefect Darko Koren, his Deputy County Prefect Ivan Pal and their associates, the conference was attended by many respectable guests, among which were also the Deputy County Prefect of Međimurje County Zoran Vidović, chief editor of magazine Protection, etc.
After the welcome words by the project leader in Koprivnica Križevci County Snježana Babok Grgić, to the guests addressed the County Prefect Darko Koren, who emphasized the importance of such projects because “we can never know when it will occur crisis period, without good preparation consequences can be catastrophic.”

7) Stjepan Behin (Koprivnica Križevci County): “Risk assessment and protection and rescue plan for the basin of Drava river in Koprivnica Križevci County”
Koprivnica Križevci County will, as part of this project, host workshop during mid-June, and joint training, which will be held July 4th.
